The true story of the biggest war criminal in the Netherlands during World War II, Andries »Al Capone« Riphagen. He handed at least 3190 Jewish people over to the authorities, who were all deported to the concentration camps. He got paid for every reported Jew and confiscated all their possessions, keeping most of it himself. Riphagen fled the country in 1946 and was never convicted for his crimes.
I played the part of Willy Lages, Head of the SD in Amsterdam.
The movie was aired for the first time on Dutch television in three episodes on the 1st, 8th and 15th of January 2017.
